Soft plastic.
Hard sound.

The WC-1 is an eight-voice polysynth that lives right here on this page. No install, no manual. Press power, then play the AK row like a keyboard — because it is one.

Four moods, one box

Presets that audition themselves

Tap one. It dials the panel and plays you a phrase. Powering on is handled — your click is the permission the browser needed.

Under the shell

Everything a synth needs.
Nothing it doesn't.

A filter with opinions

Every voice gets its own resonant lowpass. The cutoff knob rides all eight at once, smoothed so sweeps sound like a hand on hardware, not a stepped parameter.

Eight voices, zero mercy

Play a ninth note and the oldest voice steps aside in thirty milliseconds — faded, stopped, disconnected. No clicks, no zombie oscillators, no leaks.

Envelopes that snap

Eight milliseconds from key to full volume, then an exponential release you set yourself — from a 50 ms tick to a two-and-a-half-second sigh.

The scope never lies

That screen up top isn't decoration. It draws the actual signal leaving the master bus, 2,048 samples at a time, sixty frames a second.

Hands-first controls

Knobs drag like the real thing — grab, pull up, hear it move. Or tab to one and nudge it with arrow keys. Both hands welcome, mouse optional.

Presets that breathe

Four starting points, each with its own demo phrase. They don't just load values — they perform them, so you hear what the panel means.

The fine print, printed large
